post-covid fatigue
the children woke up angry, threw tantrums, crashed back into sleep. the house is dark, like the inside of a rotten log. outside, it is raining. i am tired too.

listening to: rain, distant thunder.
working on: a business plan.
in the garden: i am building a firefly meadow, with a hedge of thorns against the neighbors. already a second species of firefly has moved in.
