watch the change in weather.
she asks me to call right away, because she wants to hear all about the ultrasound. she spends the entire conversation talking about her new cat. we are expecting a son, but i never manage to tell her. well, that's just about what i expected.

working on: cleaning and packing for a week of vacation.
in the garden: i made a compost bin out of discarded pallets, and i believe it to be one of my greatest accomplishments.
