are they making progress?
once i was very young, but i grew older and began to keep poetry in the cabinet alongside the coffee press. it's strange to see these words dressed up in my voice.
so much passes in those moments when you stop paying attention. it is evidenced in filled notebooks and empty mugs, a haphazard collection too large for a shoebox. here are ticket stubs, old metrocards, exhibition brochures, loose binder clips and softly shredded edges.
