today, a trip to the hospital. i accidentally ate a pastry filled with chopped pistachios and honey, and it could have been the end of me. damn.

i used to be so tough. now, i am sitting at the table in my newly-painted kitchen, watching the sun set over the cape daisies dying in the windowbox.
